After a career as a Harris County Sheriff's Deputy, Jan Harris, President, switched fields to start a remodeling/construction business. Her husband, Roger Harris, serves as vice president of the company. Roger graduated from Rice University with a degree in business. Jan attended the University of Houston studying business management. Roger, because of his educational background and construction experience, has the distinction of being the first Certified Graduate Remodeler (CGR) in the Houston area and one of the first remodelers certified as a Master Builder. They are also one of only a few couples in Texas, as well as the nation to hold the CGR accreditation. |
| Using the same strength of character, devotion to their neighbors, and commitment to quality, Jan and Roger lead their community through participation in numerous organizations serving as past Vice President for both the National Association of the Remodeling Industry and the Greater Houston Builders Association Remodelers Council. Jan has served on numerous committees including Education, Membership, and Special Events to name just a few. They are also members of the National Association of Women Business Owners, Houston Women's Business Council, Humble Area Chamber of Commerce - Board of Directors, and various committees, Small Business Development Center Women's Roundtable, Humble Intercontinental Rotary, First United Methodist Church Administrative Board, Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Speaker's Committee, founding member of the NAHB Remodelers 20 Program, and the Women Contractors Association - Education Committee. | |
